Life in the Grueling Lane

Sometimes I just want to hide under the covers for a while! Work has been good lately after going through a particularly difficult rough patch. Every day gets better and I give up my need to know it all on a daily basis. So far I've attempted unsuccessfully to do 2 IV starts. One of my goals is to become proficient in this skill, especially when I move overseas. I'm finding that my anxiety is becoming less every day. Thank you Jesus!

School is about 1/2 way done for the summer quarter and while we don't have any exams (can I hear a YIPPEE?!), we are having to write a paper entitled "Caring". It's an interesting assignment and I'm hoping to walk away from this quarter being able to think more critically (with the brain cells I have left...not that many!)

Family life has been extremely challenging of late and it really is too bad that you can't pick your relatives! But as with all things, this too shall pass.

The most exciting thing in the last month was getting an actual paycheck...something I haven't seen in over 6 1/2 years! God is definitely good at providing.
